Exin Acero, the Mexican Meccano
Exin started making toys in Spain in the late 50's and was part of the Tri-Ang group. Some of their products are the Spanish Scalextric and Tente, a slightly modified copy of Lego. In their Mexican factory they made Meccano for the local market under the name Meccano and then under Exin-Acero (Exin-Steel). They also made Meccano for Spain for a short time in 1970 when Novedades Poch broke with Binns Road.
