Jacob's Ladder built by Mike Brammer
A display model of a Jacob's Ladder showing "Meccano“ on one side and "For Boys" on the other, driven continuously by a motor via a lost-motion crank.
A ‘Jacob’s Ladder’ toppling advertisement for MECCANO, each ‘tablet’ being a Meccano flat Flexible Plate, hinged by the knotted string arrangement required to give the running ‘flip-over’ from top to bottom after a mechanical twist to the topmost plate.
