Beam Engine by Mike Nicholls
This model featured a large built-up eccentric, formed from Curved Strips fitted round a 3" Pulley. This can be seen through the flywheel.
The connecting rod was 3/8" diameter, formed from several Elektrikit Cylindrical Cores on a Screwed Rod.
