This transformer was first available in 1936 and was intended to allow you to run two 20v motors or two Hornby trains at the same time. It had a 50 V.A. output against the 20 V.A. of the T20M and so set you back an extra shilling! This example came fitted with a plug but supplied in a box that originally had an explanation as to why a plug is not fitted! These instructions have been covered with plain red paper.
