M265 1937 T22M transformer

This transformer was first available in 1936 and was intended to allow you to run two 20v motors or two Hornby trains at the same time. It had a 50 V.A. output against the 20 V.A. of the T20M and so set you back an extra shilling! This example came fitted with a plug but supplied in a box that originally had an explanation as to why a plug is not fitted! These instructions have been covered with plain red paper. This transformer is blue but they also came in red as the next picture confirms. This is one of a series of transformers in this gallery.
