This is my version of the Meccano locomotive from the 1934 Manual no.1 to which I have added a Magic clockwork motor and also modified it to run on O gauge track. The original model of the manual is shown in the beginning. Other than the magic motor, I have tried to use only the parts that would have been available in the the No. 1 set of 1934. The No. 1 set had four 19b three inch pulley wheels, I have used three, one for the rubber band drive and the other two for the track. The front wheels are two one inch pulley wheels, articulated and fortunately stay on the track on their own. This locomotive takes slightly more than one round with one winding of the magic motor.
