The winder shaft is 9/64" square and measures 4.5mm diagonally so drill out the end of a coupling to 4.5mm and use a bolt screwed in enough to stop it turning but still allowing it to be removed after winding.
Once you have the bolt just right, lock it in place with a nut.
Use a short rod for a handle.
