8mm Al sheet cut, milled, drilled and tapped for parallel, rigid bearings. 1/2" Whit tap & 1/2 x 3 1/2" brass bolt (found at my job) for zero horizontal offset between cutter/ worm. //Nope - it didn't work, either - the eccentricity/ tolerances of the "Original Brand, purist authorized" gears and pinions were all over the place. Suitable for collectors perhaps, but not for users. -Well, its just a TOY, right?
