Ideally te arches on both sides should have been narrower, but one double angled strip width (1/2") was too narrow, so I went for two double angled strip width (1"). Although now too wide, fitting them was much easier than trying to fit narrow strips alongside one double angled strip and then having to deal with awkward alignment issues.
