Pumping Engine made from Tecnico - Tony Knowles

Tecnico was a 50-part Swiss system from 1933. It was never developed and it passed away in the mid-50s. The holes are at multiples of 11mm and the tiny Nuts & Bolts are 3/32" BSW or similar.
It had two patented features. First, struts of different lengths could be made from U-Girders which slid inside, and were bolted to, slightly larger, slotted U-Girders. Secondly, it had 3 circular parts which could be used on their own or combined to make drums & various types of wheel. The only main parts not used in the model are a 75mm O Flange Disc, a rod Coupling, & a small Loose Pulley.
Technico never boasted a motor and on this occasion the model is driven by a commercial geared unit.
