I always wanted to build a music box. My collection of Meccano parts suggested a barrel/drum of this size, 64 holes in circumference. Beethoven's Ode To Joy (performed my way!) filled only 62 holes, leaving a hole clear at the beginning and end of the performance. Brackets mounted outside the drum actuate each bell. Inside the drum, similar brackets animate the figurines. Are those chaps fighting with sticks or are they each trying to conduct the music somehow? And no, I am not a musician!
