There two views (pictures 52 and 53 - I realise I need shorter grubs in the collars btw!).

My original cam pushed axle rods mounted on the bottom of the heald shafts with couplings. It worked okay, but really needed to be thinner and as light as possible, so these were replaced with simple collars and threaded pins.

So, solution found and we can move on...
