Which are attached to the side of the heald shafts nearest to where the original cam was positioned (see picture 49).
I found a good ‘trick’ here was (given that the heald shafts are already in place) to hold up any heald shafts that were in the way by putting a collar on them at the top of the frame to grip when uppermost.
