Märklin Mississipi Dampfer riverboat floating Radio Controlled

I had made this model some time ago (a video of this was posted here) and added plastic boxes as pontoons to make it float. It was powered by a Märklin motor operated with a battery which I have now replaced with an old Meccano radio control chassis which runs the paddle wheel and the rudder. I took this out to the India Gate lawns in New Delhi to try it out.

Your Mississipi Dampfer riverboat looks most convincing in its authentic environment, and I am sure it creates much interest whenever you take it for a trip.

Thanks. The turbine runs by a battery powered electric motor. If you were to run the motor by other mechanical means then it will act like a generator and generate perhaps enough to power a small voltage LED diode.

Hat's off to your passion Mr. Dutt..
I can now see the source of your
inspiring daughters .
Could you power a LED light from the
Turbine .. Total Regards
