Märklin produced an HO gauge locomotive, based on one with Swiss Railways, that looks as if it is made of Märklin parts but actually they are printed on the body. I thought I would make it with actual parts, and as it is very big, it is for use on G gauge track. This is a two rail track so the wheels have to be insulated from one another. I am using a single Märklin 1022 motor to power them. The original locomotive shows a lot of Märklin parts on the sides. I had initially thought I would use the actual parts, but that was not possible so I have used a print of what is on the actual model, on each side.
