Steam Shovel or Mechanical Digger - John Hornsby

This model started out as Super Model Leaflet 19a.
But John then thought it was time for improvement.
John then changed just about everything apart from the Meccano it's made from.
The engine is a 'Tyco' Replica, it will not be steamed but will run from compressed air.
At the moment a small 6v motor drives the engine crankshaft.
