"The Mother of invention has no law": Girders are scarce in my boxes, and Gear Cutting Machines are demanding in this respect. -Hence, approaching my usual WIDE open attitude I once again returned ty my job to fix a frame out of discarded IKEA shelves (chipboard with that nice white melamine coat that always chips at the edges) I saw laying in the dumpster the other day. But to get that sacrilege together I would also need some brackets, so on my way to the dumpster I checked the Non-Iron Waste Pallet. Lo and behold - seems like the guys tearing down the "Compactor" rolling archival shelves also (roughly) cut the Al profiles long enough to get into the pallet. Right! No IKEA frame for THIS gear cutter! A generous amount of these were instantly liberated into my "Nice-to-have-stash". So, again - instead of enjoying my holiday I spend the afternoon in the workshop cutting, grinding, drilling, tapping these pieces into... -Yeah!
