I´m very happy that I finally got a pre-war clockwork motor, with the 9-holes x 7-holes side plates (many thanks to Dave Taylor, for featuring so many obsolete parts in his shop). It runs very smooth. It is often used in nickel era models, not only as a motor but also as a part of the structure. Therefore, the correct size is important (later 8h x 6h motors won´t do the job).
