No.10 Giant Liner
This model featured in the No. 10 outfit manual from 1937 to 1953. It appears to have been based loosely on the RMS Queen Mary which first sailed comercially the year before (1936) in a blaze of publicity as the Cunard flag-ship to sail the North Atlantic route. She held the Blue Riband for this route for many years and is now a Long Beach tourist attraction. This example is a slightly enhanced version of the No. 10 model with more life boats and some other detail changes to make it resemble the Queen Mary more closely. It is made entirely from original parts from the late 30s.
