Meccano and AMB Dealers' Cabinets
How often will this be seen? On the left, a 1915 US Meccano Dealer's Cabinet. On the right, a 1915-1916 American Model Builder (AMB) Dealer's Cabinet (more details are in another folder in my gallery). There was very brief mention of the AMB parts display in the lawsuit Meccano brought against Frank Wagner and AMB. I thought it would be nice to show the two side-by-side.
The logo on the AMB cabinet reads "The American Mechanical Toy Company" / "Dayton, Ohio U.S.A."
