This is my build of Papougenet's ball lifter. I came across it on YouTube some time ago and was interested enough to take a bunch of screen shots and file them away for "One Day".

And with the weather here lately only being conducive to either a) staying inside and hibernating or b) staying inside and building something in Meccano, I chose the latter. I had enough screen shots to figure out how most of the mechanism worked, which left only a few "I wonder how on earth that's supposed to work" to figure out during construction. Once it was together it was surprisingly easy to get working. It was a fun build and it's quite hypnotic to watch.
