Journal for the extra gear train in the Going Train
In the instructions, the extra gear train is journalled in 1" triangular plates bolted to the clock frame. I could not get the gears to mesh as the rods were too close together. The picture shows my alternative journal which can be adjusted to get perfect meshing. The 2.5" strip braces the 1"x1.5" corner bracket.
