Meccano Thomas the Tank locomotive for G gauge

This is my version of Thomas the Tank locomotive using modern meccano parts to run on my wall mounted G gauge track (still under construction). This uses the 6 volt battery powered modern meccano motor. The driving wheels have been improvised using a combination of B 453 plastic wheels (available in hudson 0507 and some meccano motor bike sets) and wheel flange part number 137 in a reverse role! As my wall mounted track has an incline, I wanted to make a lighter locomotive, so I used some plastic flexible plates, but was disappointed they break very easily. One set has been repaired with Scotch tape.
