Meccano Midland 4-2-2 locomotive for O gauge from No. 6 set

This is my version of the Midland 4-2-2 locomotive described in the 1935 F to L Manual to run on O gauge track, but using only the parts that would have been available in a No. 6 set I was given in 1947. This is powered by a magic clockwork motor that came with the set. As this set had no flanged wheels, I have used the combination of a one inch pulley and bush wheel discs. The original model was neither motorised nor meant for O gauge. Fortunately the 19b three inch pulleys run well on O gauge track and can be used with just the one inch pulley wheels without a flange. This is my first attempt to make a locomotive run powered with a magic motor and using more than 4 wheels. I could not make a tender as there are only two half inch pulleys left!
